In the LCBO parking lot, heading towards the parking lot exit. I hear a bumper crunch. An older guy driveing a Sentra SE-R, backed into me driving as I was driving past him. I stop to get out to check for damage, he backed into my right rear steel wheel (only a scratch on it). No damage to the body. He looks at his bumper, and there is huge scratch. I tell him “sorry about that.”, guy is like “that’s fine, its another one for the collection. Enjoy the drinks you bought.” I told him to have a good day, he replied back the same. I don’t know whether to be mad or to laugh.

It sounds like where I live. With minor accidents where only slight scuffs or paint is exchanged, both parties go out of their way to apologise sometimes even leaving each other like friends would, “okay, take care, see you soon, have a great/good/pleasant day/day at work/evening, bye”.

I’ve done it myself only to play it back in my head and think, ‘what?’.

If he hit some paint, I be more concerned but a scuff on a steel wheel is no worry.

7/10 Canadas. Points deducted for lack of Tim Horton’s.

It’s actually 8/10 due to the LCBO. if there was a Canadian Tire nearby, it gets half a point more. Tim Hortons is a full point and and half due to it having a Hockey Player in the name. dual value.

We have a Beer Store with a Tim Hortons attached. I touque out every time I drive by.
